Rent Avalanche Safety Equipment

If you’re heading into the backcountry on skis or a snowboard, don’t forget to rent avalanche safety equipment and learn how to use it. We rent avalanche safety packages for $15 per day which includes a beacon, shovel, and probe. We also rent avalanche safety equipment with a backcountry ski backpack for $25 per day. This pack has specific compartments for your safety gear keeping it organized and accessible for when you need it. If you already have a beacon and probe, rent just a beacon (aka transceiver) for $10/day. Click here to rent a beacon, shovel, and probe.

Backcountry ski boots, climbing skins, ski crampons and boot crampons, canisters for avalanche airbag backpacks, ice axes, and backcountry backpacks are also available to rent.

Rent Cross-Country Skiing Gear

For cross country skiing, we rent the Salomon Snowscape 7 with Salomon SNS Pilot cross-country bindings. Boots are also made by Salomon, including the Siam Pilot 7 and the Escape 7 Pilot. These are very comfortable Nordic skiing boots that can be worn all day without issue.

Rent Snowshoes

We chose to fill our snowshoe rental fleet with the MSR EVO Ascent because it comes equipped with heel risers to provide leg relief when walking uphill and offers great traction for traversing slopes and hiking off-trail. If you’d like poles with your snowshoes, we’ll gladly include those for no extra charge.
